<p>You are given 30 minutes for your talk.</p>

<p><strong>The purposes of this talk are as follows:</strong></p>

<ol>
    <li>To briefly review the three previous talks in order to emphasize the fact that we are separated from
        God by sin and meant to live in community with God and others. This should not be a complete recap
        of the weekend so far &mdash; focus only on the talks.</li>
    <li>To explain how the death of Jesus on the cross is the only provision that God has made for our
        reconciliation with God and the basis of a life of reconciliation with others.</li>
    <li>To introduce the Lenten Walk in which the weekenders engage in serious self-examination concerning
        the sin in their personal lives and the work Jesus did on the cross for them.</li>
</ol>

<p><strong>Themes you should include in your talk:</strong></p>

<ol>
    <li>We are created to live in community with God and others (Genesis 1:28, Romans 12:16, 15:5&ndash;7, 1 Peter 2:10).</li>
    <li>We are all sinners (Psalm 51:5, Romans 3:23).</li>
    <li>Sin destroys our personal relationship with God. We are separated from God without Jesus Christ
        (Isaiah 59:2, Romans 6:23).</li>
    <li>Jesus is the fullest reality of God's love for all people and is the means by which we are restored
        to a right relationship with God (Romans 5:8).</li>
    <li>Jesus suffered and died in our place so that we might be reconciled to God (Romans 5:6, 1 Peter 3:18).</li>
    <li>Jesus is the only provision for people to overcome sin and restore the broken relationship with God
        (John 14:6).</li>
